As I seem to have ‘lost’ some weeks, I think at Christmas, so here is some sketchbook pages of a lovely poppy that flowered earlier this summer.
A slight diversion – I did a collective lino cut session at Glasgow Sculpture Workshop.
Six of us each did part of a design. The photo shows four cuts. I like the positive and negative spaces.
I cleaned my first casting and made my Wayfarer necklace – with a New Zealand pebble and a berry.
I tried melting some gold wire that I was given so that I can make a ring from it.
This gave me the idea to melt some copper wire – which ended up as this bird’s nest pendant.
